How to upgrade / fix acekard 2i for 3DS v3.0.0-5

If you get “an error has occured……” That means you have a DSi(XL) or a 3DS
with higher firmware and a Acekard 2i with lower firmware.E.g a DSi(XL) with
1.4.3 firmware or a 3DS with 2.1.0-4,but a Acekard 2i with 1.4.2 or lower.
Please refer to the following guide to make the 1.4.3 udpate for your
Acekard 2i.
Guide for Updating AceKard 2i to work with DSi(XL) Firmware Update 1.4.3 and
3DS 2.1.0-4
What you will need to update your AceKard 2i Card:
1.A DSi Console with Firmware lower than 1.4.3 (1.4.3E, 1.4.3J, 1.4.3U &
1.4.3A) e.g 1.4.2 1.4.1 1.4,1.3 or 1.2 OR
a DS Lite Console
2.AceKard 2i Card Loaded with latest Firmware AKAIO1.8.8
3.Firmware Update of AK2i for 3DS2.1 and DSi1.4.3
You may download AKAIO1.8.8 and Firmware Update of AK2i for 3DS2.1 and
DSi1.4.3 from http://www.acekard.com/download.php
To Check Your DSi(XL) or 3DS Firmware Version:
Click ‘Setting’ on the Main Menu
In the right hand corner of the top screen it will say Ver 1.X or Ver 2.X
STEPS:
1.Download professional SD card format tool to reformat your MicroSD card
first.

http://www.acekard.com/download.php
2.Extract the AKAIO1.8.9 and copy “akmenu4.nds” and folder “__aio” to the
root directory of your Micro SD card.
3.Unzip ‘ak2ifw_update_3ds3.0_DSi143.zip’ you will then have two files:
Updating via DSi(XL) use : ak2ifw_update_3ds30_DSi143_onDSi_and_DSXL_and3DS.nds
Updating via DS Lite use : ak2ifw_update_3ds30_DSi143_onDSL.nds
4.Copy the file you need to the root directory of the Micro SD memory card.
5.Place the Micro SD back into the AceKard 2i Card and insert into
DSL/DSi(XL)(lower than 1.4.3) Console
6.Select the Micro SD Card icon (from the main operating system on the
AceKard 2i Main Screen)
7.Select the
ak2ifw_update_3ds30_DSi143_onDSL.nds/ak2ifw_update_3ds30_DSi143_onDSi_and_DSXL_and3DS.nds
8.Follow the on screen instructions (Press Start to update until 100%
finished)
Complete!! You have a working AceKard 2i with DSi Firmware 1.4.3 and 3DS 3.0.0-5
